ABSOLUTELY NO STUDS!
Reservation Policy - Securing a reservation requires a 50% deposit with a credit card at time of booking. The remaining balance is due at check in and can be made with credit card or cash.
Cancellation Policy - Early departures from camp are nonrefundable. If your reservation is cancelled 76 days prior to your scheduled arrival, a full refund (minus a $50.00 cancellation fee) is provided. A reservation cancelled 75 to 46 days, allows for a 50% refund (minus a $50.00 cancellation fee). No refund is provided if your reservation is cancelled 45 days or less prior to your scheduled arrival.
HORSE PAPERS--- ALL HORSES/MULES, IN STATE OR OUT OF STATE, ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE A CURRENT 30 DAY HEALTH CERTIFICATE AND A CURRENT 1 YEAR COGGINS. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
Pet Policy - We do allow dogs at Elk Haven. Please pick up after your pets and keep them leashed at all times, and please don’t leave your pets unattended for long periods of time. Pets are welcome so long as they do not become a nuisance with excessive barking, running through camp unattended, etc. Click here to see complete pet rules.
Pens - Each site is guaranteed only one pen. These pens will fit 2 horses comfortably, 4 horses tightly. Extra pens may be available but cannot be guaranteed so please plan accordingly. For additional information on splitting pens or extra pens please come to the office. Pens must be cleaned daily.
Check-in time is at 3pm. Please bring current year negative Coggins, current Health papers (within 30 days), and final payment to the store upon arrival. If you arrive after 5pm, you must show proper paperwork for horses either through email or text before horses are allowed in pens. You may finish checking in first thing in the morning.
Check-out time is at 11am on your day of departure.
